I’m proud to share my experience collaborating with the development team on Uturn (uturn.me) — a dynamic digital platform designed to empower creatives, brands, and content producers across the region. My primary role in this project was to lead the transformation of the existing Bootstrap-based design into a fully functional custom WordPress website, using clean, plugin-free programming to ensure optimal performance, maintainability, and scalability.

Key Contributions and Features:

• Custom WordPress Development: Rebuilt the front-end design into a tailor-made WordPress theme using clean PHP, SCSS, and JavaScript — without relying on third-party plugins — to ensure full control over performance and code quality.

• Pixel-Perfect Conversion: Maintained design consistency between the original Bootstrap mockups and the final WordPress implementation, ensuring that the UI remained sleek, modern, and responsive across all devices.

• Optimized Performance: Focused on fast loading times and lightweight architecture by avoiding bloated frameworks or unnecessary code.

• Multilingual Ready: Structured the system to support future language expansions (e.g., Arabic/English) by integrating multilingual readiness at the core of the theme architecture.

• Scalable Backend: Created flexible backend structures that allow the content management team to easily update sections, media, and site structure without technical dependencies.

This project exemplifies the value of clean code, thoughtful architecture, and collaboration. It was a rewarding experience to contribute to the evolution of Uturn’s digital presence and ensure it performs efficiently while preserving design integrity
